BIOGRAPHY

My grandfather gave me a harmonica when I was 4 and introduced me to the world of self created music. I sat down at a piano the next year and realized I could play the music I heard in my head. Many years of classical lessons, jazz lessons, rock, funk, reggae and soul bands, various teachers and inspirations, and I find myself still mesmerized by the piano and other intruments that help express the music I hear. I have a Bachelors of Integrated Arts from Penn State University specializing music and recording and have studied music my whole life. Like most creative pursuits, the study, creation and performing of music is a never ending journey that is a pleasure to make.  Music brings us together to celebrate life, gives us hope in dark times, and gets people off their chairs and onto the floor and into the moment. That's why I love to play music. To celebrate the moment!
